Stumble & Cough

I have been having a problem that I thought was fixed. I had been having the typical #1 cylinder misfire code and thought I have fixed it by replacing the coil pack and plugs. I now find that it occurs when I turn on the a/c and stop at a light. Not only does the code appear the ESC and Traction Control comes on at the same time as well. The engine almost shuts down because the misfire is so bad. Any ideas for a solution ?

Plugs and coil were a good place to start (although SWAPPING the coil with another cylinder to see if the problem moved, would have saved a few $'s).

My next step would be a compression test on all cylinders to see if #1 is low. If it is, it would indicate: burnt valve/head gasket/cracked head issues.

Any oil showing in coolant, or coolant in oil?

Actually the common misfire code is p0302, #2.
