ive gotten alot of my info from the cobalt guys. heard there can be some clearance issues with the auto but we shall see when we get there. so far i have the LSJ throttle body, intercooler pump, IC pump and intake manifold bracket, some of the bolts that are hard to find and i am working on the belt tensioner. and i hate to keep you guys in suspense but i will probably be collecting parts into next year but i will try to do a detailed how to along the way.

Hey, congrats on going ahead with this!!

While the HHR shares a lot with the Cobalt, what you will run into problem wise is that in front of the motor the HHR is narrower and has less depth. That makes the intake a real challenge. PM me and I'll give you sources to make a good intake and how to route it.

I PM'd you about an extra part I have for dealing with the belt and tensioner issue.

Good luck and hope to hear from you soon!

I am interested in this as well... is there a parts list somewhere?

I hang with a big Cobalt SS club, just traded my 06 SS/SC on a HHR... so I am very familliar with the setup. Also I believe we have a spare M62 laying around somewhere.

Am I correct in assuming that it is mostly a matter of putting on the LSJ intake manifold and blower, along with the intercooler pump, some kind of front-mount, 42 or 60lb injectors, and a proper tune?

The Cobalt "published" parts lists miss on many points on the details.

That and a number of other things! Wiring, sensors, intake, etc. Not as simple as it sounds.
