Partial parts list.

Please note that this list will be copied over as a complete list till the very end.

Many of these items I have available on my website. You can find it by typing my name plus supercharger in Google. Ebay is another good source as well as any supporting vendor.

AutoCal tuner- $399 or less.

MJ Engineering tune- $- horse trading

Eaton M62 rebuilt supercharger- ported and powder coated- $599 to $999
60lb Siemens Deka fuel injectors- Part #108191 $220

Bosch intercooler pump- GM # 22718756 $519 new. $120 or less used. Same as on Ford Lightning, Cobra, and GT500.

Intercooler pump connector- $15.95 new. $3.99 or less used. Bosch EV1 fuel injector connectors will fit perfectly. You can find these on GM 3800 supercharged engines as well as 86-98 Mustangs, and LT1 engines.

Intercooler pump rear mounting bracket #12585130 GM retail $19.89- need 3 metric bolts to mount to engine block not included.

Intercooler pump front mounting clamp GM #12585150 GM retail $56.96- need 2 metric bolts to mount to intercooler pump rear mounting bracket.

Factory piece of rubber used to deaden the sound of the intercooler pump- unknown part #. OR use a piece of rubber from bicycle tube- cut 3 to 4 layers thick to layer into intercooler pump mounting bracket. This keeps the pump from moving around. Bolting it to your engine will make it quiet. Bolt it to the body and you will hear a hum in the car.

SPST 20amp relay assembly- under $20

Supercharger to intake manifold gasket GM# 12584342 GM retail $42.91

Intake manifold to head gasket GM# 12597855 GM retail $20.39

Awesome! I'm looking at piecing together a kit for my 2011 2.2 and hope everything swaps over. I also am looking for better drivebility while keeping fuel economy. I have a feeling that things maybe a bit different for a later model 2.2. Any thoughts?

The engine will be the same. I just checked the ECM part # on RockAuto- and it is the same for the 2.2L in 2011 as it was in 2009. The only thing left to confirm is the transmission.

Intake manifold bracket to engine block: GM#12586632 GM retail $53.69 Need 3 bolts to mount bracket.

Lower intake manifold & intercooler cover: GM #12584348 & 12584351. GM Retail $752.32 & $220.76. I am not sure if this includes the laminova cores or gasket. I would recommend finding one used from a 2004-2007 Chevy Cobalt SS or a Saturn Redline. Note that the orings inside the laminova intercoolers can leak antifreeze. If this happens, they are over $20 each and there are 8 of them. You can try dropping them in a solvent parts cleaning tank for an hour which softens them up. I have had great success with this. Make sure to use silicon grease or vasoline to install them properly.

Unconfirmed fitment:

Ecotec Supercharged plastic fuel injector rail cover: GM #12595800 GM Retail $48
Supercharger idler: GM # 12583180 GM Retail $221.27

css.net for parts/info. We lag a little over here on chevyhhr.net sometimes

Autocal is efilive for tuning?

You won't need 60lb injectors to reach 225 Fwhp. 40s will do fine. 60s would get you to 300whp.

the VVT 2.2l is the LAP and the flex is LE8.

You will probably need a 2.9" and header/downpipe to get into 225whp territory. I bet the stock cat back supports 225whp fine.

Idler swaps over.

css.net turned up nothing.

Autocal uses EFILIVE for tuning.

60lb injectors- You are correct that 40's will do the trick. However, I sell Siemens Deka and the 60's are the same price. I have had great luck tuning with their 60lb injectors in Ford Mustangs running 450hp. I entrust the same for my first Chevy.

LE8- is this my engine code?
What do you recommend for a header?

I know Fords inside and out. This is my first Chevy- aside from a 69 Chevelle I had as a kid that I sold to fund a 73 Mustang project.

Ive heard the 60s are a little much for our 4cyls, and might make for a rough idle, hard to get the duty cycle down and the spray pattern isnt optimal. Can be done with a skilled tuner though.

bad mab header

zzp downpipe

or zzp does a longtube header set.

The best single exhaust mod is the downpipe though. The stock downpipe has a bad restriction at the header flange and it also has a flattened spot where the O2 sensor is.

Only brought up 60s as too large as a note most builds would not need them. It does take a few more iterations to get idle down, but it is no problem. I got 80s to idle on e85. That took a bit longer

Thanks for the update on 60lb injectors. Your right to keep this information as informative as possible for the DIY. MJ Engineering tells me that it is possible with this ECM to tune up to 110lb injectors. I am also running Flex fuel, so with E85, I will need larger injectors.

Tuning Stage 2 today. Changing the VVT timing to see how it responds. Still doing all this BEFORE the supercharger install. It will provide some data logs so that MJ will be able to help tune other VVT HHR's with AutoCal.

So far so good. I will put another 700 miles on it with data logs. So far, MJE has a tune right now to help with shifting and drive by wire throttle response time for the VVT engines. The VVT tune should pickup some horsepower.
