Trifecta tune
There's different explinations for both, really depends on what the tuner defines each as. I've used a "canned" tune as a base line for a tuner, then did some data logging, sent that info to the tuner and let him tweek and install the tune again and tweek as needed.
My last car was SCT tuned. I bought the 93 octain basic tune for bolt-ons and cams. This was the "normal" tune for what I had mod wise since so many others had modded their cars the same way for years.....

there is a trifecta dealer near me here in Canada and received an email from him stating that he has a new deal from trifecta performance. If we order the $350 tune through him we receive a FREE DIY (do-it-yourself value $250) EZ flash tuning cable in case we want to go back to stock settings. Does this sound like a good deal? The deadline is Sept 1, 2012
Yes it is good, I paid 400 and that was during a sale, Ha Ha. It is nice to own the cable, you can read codes and clear them, and tune your buddy's SS for him, if you order another tune, I am happy with Vince, and with the lifetime tune, He will dial you in when ever you send Him a log.
Really He isn't paying me.

It would usually take a couple of seconds after pressing the throttle to downshift and take off for passing and such. Also, there were certain circumstances that it would just "sag" (not downshift, speed up very slowly). It is much better now, tranny is more responsive, don't notice much more power though. Mileage has dropped from 26.7 overall to 23.2. I've been watching my driving and keeping my foot out of it.
