Unheard of HHR intakes battle
I purchased a CGS used here for $90 in the classified section. So the price was wright for me. The sound is better and it has good looks. I think my acceleration is a little better but not sure about the mileage cause I installed the CGS after gas changed to winter blend.
I however was not at all impressed with the filter. It is to large for the aera it sits in and vibrates onto other engine items making a noise when you start up or get on the throttle. So I changed my filter to a smaller and much higher quality K&N filter. Because it's smaller and slightly angled, so the fit is much better. The sound is toned down a little and best of all it no linger vibrates into other engine compartment items. I have seen no change in power or mileage from it either.
