I ended up swapping back to the original "turbo" style mufflers to get better performance (*this was with intake, carb, cam/rockers and headers btw). Now some Flowmaster mufflers may sound great and add good power on some vehicles - but it was not the case with mine.

There's an independent lab test floating out there on the internet, I don't know where it's at because I just stumbled on it a few months ago. They put them up against some very well known and popular mufflers and they were much quieter and flowed extremely better.

i had one shop quote me $49 for the muffler plus instal so this is inline and they told me $35 to $50 for the install, so still about the same.
