ZZP 1.0 2.2/2.4 pcm

Has anyone here had this done for their 2.2? I'm interested, but i don't want to break my baby's back. I would be mailing in my pcm. I'm currently at about 185k Miles, mostly freeway, but I drive like every trip is a race. I really just want more low end torque., but don't have the money for bolt-on stuff, don't want a cold air intake (still don't see how that can improve performance next to the hot engine), and my plugs are new and good.

I've owned more or less the same car, a 2008 HHR with a 2.2. No, I haven't done this. A 2.2 is still going to be kind of slow. unless you do a few other mods. A 2.4 I would do.

Do not expect much. Do expect complications. Do expect hand wringing about what you should have done before you got the tune, because any mods afterwards will require a re-tune.

Here's an option; just promise yourself your next car will be faster. This is the best choice if you don't have money to burn.

Good advice. My next car will be an HHR SS, so it better be faster.
