Awesome answer as that 50 is very near what I'm looking at. My guy researched getting my 2.4 from 172 to 275HP and estimated 5,500 parts/labor. How accurate that will be in the end I have no clue and I'm not sure he does either.

I like my K&N, but the Trifecta tune finished the job.

HP Bolt On's

6 Larger thorttle body
3 Header
2.5 Exhaust
8 Cam
2 HP CIA
5 HP Stroker Crank and .20 over bore pistons
Wide band O2 sensor for programming
HP or Trifecta Tune will bring all these figures to light.
If you are running a 2.4L you should already be running Premium fuel read your manual.
Total about 25 HP closer to 26.5 with a good tune and zero gap primary piston rings.
For another 10-15 HP look at head work.

This is an expensive route, Look at ZZperformnace supercharger if you have an automatic it will put you well over 200HP. Then look at doing the rest along with an O-ringed block "Not the head" & headwork to put you into 350 real at wheel HP. When you get over 200 HP due to lack of traction look into an LSD for your transmission and poly bushings for the suspension along with engine mounts.

Do not think of going 6 speed if you want over 350 HP at wheels one it will not link and the internals on the 6 Speed are not good over 350HP. The 4 speed auto is good to about 450 hp to the wheels with an LSD. A 5 speed is better for SCCA or autocross events as you will rarely use 4th gear. The 4 speed auto 4T45E MN5 4spd Auto will link up faster in the quarter mile. If you are looking at top speed go with a turbo kit and a tune with a cam, exhaust 3", Wide band O2, Throttle body, Larger brakes "those tiny brakes dust will look like fire flies at 145 MPH when you hit them. With no brakes!).

I would recommend suspension and engine mount replacement with polyurethane before anything. You will be surprised at the results. As its cheap other than the 12 ton press to press the bushings. Rewards are well worth it!

I doubt you can get 2.4 to 200hp without going FI.

FI? You mean larger fuel injectors? Or turbocharged or supercharged.
You will need more air and fuel , so open up the intake and exhaust and a higher volume fuel pump.

Mine's fast enough, & I have some speeding tickets to prove it.

I'm thinking he means "Forced Induction". But correct me if I'm wrong.

Ah , a blower , I always wanted to install one of those kits, ZZP used to sell them , but you had to get your own Eaton supercharger, used of course.
