Woah, have you guys ever heard of a corsa muffler.
They sound like they have a patented no drone muffler that cancels the unwanted drone frequencies.

Anyone know if they have universal mufflers, there technology sounds awesome.

Nope, I called. They don't make one for the hhr, but they used to make one for the cobalt, but he said they discontinued it a long time ago.

Nope never heard of them! I found this at Summit, maybe some reading is in order, I didn't look up a specific model HHR maybe by inlet pipe ID

I don't think so
I couldn't find anything.

I have never been the ginea pig for a car before, usually there is a forum out there where everyone has tried everything and it's much easier to make an exhaust selection.

But, like I said, I really like this car and want to have that perfect sound, but keep the nice added performance.

The walker exhaust you have, doesn't look to be straight through? Correct? On the kit it shows a cutout of the muffler and it is chambered and looks different?

I used to have equipment to work with sheet steel. One of the things I did was make stainless steel mufflers for myself and I sold some to folks.

I always made baffled chambers in them and stuffed some with course stainless steel wool but the whole idea was to build a muffler that would muffle the sound as completely as could be done and still allow the exhaust to escape.

Common carbon steel mufflers were made of very thin steel the stuff I was using was just under 1/16" thick, the baffle plates were right at 1/8" thick. That helped to keep things quiet.

Ok guys thankfully they are allowing me to do a return, but they said I am the first to complain about drone on there hhr system.

Which is odd, because today I took it for a drive with my dad and he got a phone call, and attempted to turn the radio down to hear the call better, but it was the drone, because the radio was off.

So now I am going to have someone weld my exhaust back together again

But, I really want a new awesome muffler, that's my dream!

Flowmaster shorty an option?
Walker muffler an option?
Magnaflow muffler?
Dynomax VT (no drone guarantee)

Do think and exhaust shop will slip on different ones that I can hear?

I really need advise now on a muffler option.

I am sorry this has been a long and failed attempt, but it means a lot guys so thank you. :)
