since alot of people are using the GCS intake system, does anyone know of or if the AEM company who makes the Brute Force intakes will make one for the HHR? or how about Airforce 1?

i was going to buy a K&N intake system for my 03 harley f150, but when searching around, i read alot about AEM brute force...was WAAAAAY better then K&N, and it has a dry element, no need for oiling. also read about the airforce 1 filters and they sounded pretty good.

hopefully AEM will make an intake one day, but if not, i guess ill join the crowd and get the GCS one

 

yes aem is making an intake for the hhr pt # is 22-674P TBA price and when it is coming out

We did the protoyping for the AEM CAI kit (our HHR was in there 3 times), and it was scrapped.
They will not be releasing a kit. Here is a copy of the email from AEM stating no kit:

Hi Mike,

At this time AEM has decided not to pursue the HHR air intake system. This includes the 2.2 and 2.4 A/T or M/T. Unfortunately there is a small percentage of kits that make it through R&D that do get the axe.

oh well, and i really wanted them to make one, since i heard they usually make the most HP out of any kit
