SSGuy Price Inquiry

Hey SSGuy, I didn't pay $362 for mine. At the time it was $267.75. It seems you must check http://gmpartsdirect.com almost daily as their price changes. It is part number 19159206

Well... it looks interesting. I just don't know if I'm willing to shell out that kind of $$$ for a cone-filter retrofit. I see the K&N is very similar to this as well.

What about that other intake, the one that is the tube that arches down towards the fenderwell? IDK if it is necessarily a true "cold air" option either though.

I guess it's all about determining what works best for this particular setup.

Has anyone thought about putting a scoop on the hood and cutting a hole to dump fresh air over the box?

<<<Just put them up on photobucket Marc. That's the best way to show photos on forums.>>>

By the way, the price I paid may reflect the fact that Chevy is not making these (at least right now), and they are getting hard to find. I think it was worth the money. God Bless, Marc

Marc... you should be able to copy the link from your photobucket gallery and paste it directly into a reply here.

Use the one with URL tags around it.

Okay Raineman, I am giving it a try here. Many thanks for the advice. This should be a front view of the GMPP Intake on "Elvis"......

This should be a right side view.....

And this should show the left side. I hope these details help someone.

God Bless, Marc

Hi Raineman, Is it supposed to insert the photo directly, or just provide a link on which to click? Thank you. Marc

Marc-
I took the liberty of posting yer pics..Hope ya don't mind.. Sharp looking under yer hood !!!!

To post pics, Right click on any image, then click on "Properties" Then Left click & drag across the whole URL, it will hi-light, & then Right click on "Copy", then Right click "Paste" it where ya want it & add the [img] & at the end the [/img] No spacing in between.. Confused yet ?? Try it on these pics of yours, you will only need to add the [img]URL here[/img] tags, hopefully that will help..

Billy
