okay i missed it. what is a GMPP intake? don`t care about exhaust.

thanks, did some surfing but the cost? whoo! some posts say that big plastic box passes enough air but why so damn ugly?

The oem air box is very efficient. Why it's ugly, IDK ? It is what it is.. Wait till you change an air filter the 1st time..

THE GMPP CAI is a lot of $$$.. Too much imo..

If you think the HHR airbox is to big and ugly.....look at all of the newer (and near future) GM vehicles. Right or wrong, it's GM's method of hiding the engine and providing a cleaner look to the engine compartment.

One of the newer small vehicles....can't remember which one....hides the ENTIRE engine compartment fender to fender, firewall to radiator.

This is pretty much the main reason I got the K&N , I can't believe that stock clamshell crap.
