Question GMPP CAI Installed

I installed my CAI 2.4 HHR, my buddy said I may want to disconnect my battery for about thirty minutes to reset the computer and sensors since it's a newer vehicle. But he wasn't sure so do some research. Question is has anyone had to do this for their CAI or did they you just pretty much plug and play? She sounds great and I can also feel a difference in the power, very happy with my spring mod BTW.

Easy bolt on upgrade. The only problem I had was the back drivers side screw to tighten to the box lid, it sits right under the plastic molding. I had to get one of those screwdrivers that had a 90 degree bend in it to get to it. It was that or doing it the hard way by putting a cross tip bit in there and turning it with vice grips. I did that, some polished fluid caps and some stainless steel plates on the fuse box and bcm covers all in just over an hour.

Pull the ECM fuse under the hood, if I remember correctly it's number 41, but check the layout on the sticker to be sure. Leave it out 20-30 minutes or something like that. This resets the "learn mode" that these systems have

Replace the screws with stainless hex head bolts. No problems..

This was just a question post, not a completed mod post, but the pics are now up in the gallery.

Sleeper, thanks, when I was doing this I was way out in the country and didn't want to run to the city to get some hex bolts, that angled screw driver worked just fine for me, glad I keep tools that come with other projects...

Enjoy the pics.
