Headers

So has anyone actually installed any headers on thier HHR? I looked in the power increase and I saw one guy that they thought might have added a header but didn't. I also saw in there that one person claimed to have swapped headers with a cobalt and they fit perfectly. So if that is the case why would the manufacturers not claim as much. And if the headers are not the same then are there any headers that will fit the HHR?

We only have one header

and yes 2 people have one that I know of. The exhaust ports and bolt pattern on the 2.4L ecotech are the same as the 2.0L. I know this only because they use the same exhaust gasket. From what I understand there is a coolant line in the way that you need to modify somewhat, but they will fit.

To answer it before it is asked, I do not personally have one...YET

there's an AC line that runs in a different direction on the 2.4L HHR, but we're confident that our header for the supercharged cobalt will fit the 2.4L perfectly.

Please provide some documentable evidence that these overpriced tubes will provide "whatever" gains!

Folks, it hasn't happened yet on other forums and you can bet it won't happen here!!

You are starting to annoy me. The mods here don't take kindly to a single user jumping on Supporting Vendors; be forewarned. We take heaps of money and time to design and manufacture a product with DOCUMENTABLE proof.

People like you who are out to slam and slander just don't help the situation for product development for Gm vehicles that are already shunned by the market.

...not cool dude.

You don't know him well enough. He's not trying to slander your product,he like the rest of us would like to see proof of what your product claims before we consider buying. That all.

it sure seems like it... every post we state talking about a new product, he slams it... how can you prove something that isn't even out of testing yet!

It may be because your company has a reputation that precedes itself from the J-body and Cobalt SS forums in which several of your customers received less than stellar performance from your products or support in service from your company. Just like GM is having to do with its new products that people are already slamming before they hit the market, you will have to provide proof to the masses that your products are NOW up to a better standard of quality before people trust you again.

Now, I don't have any beef with you or your company at all and I hope that you will develop quality products and have good luck in marketing them. I'm just simply explaining why some members may have certain prejudices to your company at this point.
