intake filter

I had been wanting to make something, got the idea at Toms Farm g2g on Nov. 6th after seeing what Tracy had made I knew what I was going to do, I cannot get photos on site, I will fax to Tracy in a couple days and see if he thinks it warrents putting on site, so far it works fine no codes, my HHR is an 2006 2lt with the 2.4 engine, I have not been able to update my photos in the gallery, everyone enjoy the Holidays and keep safe. Thumbs up

I strongly agree with the idea that the intake MUST be connected to the stock cold air tube! The units that have the conical filter located BETWEEN the block and the wheel well may look groovy, but they are sucking hot air! I have a K&N box, and with a little extra heat protection ( I had some extra insulation laying around) , it works great. Now all I need to do is to "Ghetto Engineer" a nitrous bottle with a tube running to the box.

Not too much of an issue to do. I had a ZEX set up with a 75 shot that was tons of fun! The thread for it is around here somewhere.
