Jet Performance Modules

I"ve done searching on the forum and haven't come up with any particular information on the Jet Performane Modules.
My HHR is a '06 2.4, is there anyone out there with experience with these module upgrades?
Any information would be appreciated, I'm looking at a Stage I, I'm not a racer, just enjoy that little "extra".......

All it does is tell your ecm that the engine is cold so it dumps more fuel into the cylinder. Your car will idle weird and the rpms will redline when you come to a red light when your not on the gas pedal. Its not worth it imo.

Are we talking about the same thing?
I'm not looking at the "resistor" you put in the wire loop of the MAS.
This is a unit that plugs inline to the "computer" control.
Just want to be sure were on the same page.

In the past all the JET "Performance Modules" did was add some timing and fuel. No big tuning and control going on. I just don't beleive you can buy a one size fits all "chip" like that and have it improve the performance.

jet

i think jet makes good stuff...i was considering getting a jet maf..i did some reading about them...some things to consider is that gm has probably got the best tune already programed into all systems...but they have probably tuned for mpg and to meet epa or emissions standards and not totally for performance...i think that tuning for mpg and performance go together , but not totally...and emissions are totally different...remember the emissions crap they put on vehicles when they 1st started having them?

Not sure if this member gets on any more but you can check with FEAR1HHR. He had one on his HHR.
