I thought SoCal said AEM wasn't going to make a CAI for our vehicle.

 

OK...I'm going to ask a dumb question. What's the difference between a Cold Air Intake (CAI) and a Short Ram Air Intake system? They have them listed as 2 different things on their site and the one for the HHR is a Short Ram.

 

I'ld love to see an actual photo of the HHR system (notice that the ad says the HHR system may differ from the picture shown).

 

I think the difference is the word games people play with exactly where the filter gets located.

 

i would like to see more info on it.... price and numbers when they come out

At this time AEM has decided not to pursue the HHR air intake system. This includes the 2.2 and 2.4 A/T or M/T. Unfortunately there is a small percentage of kits that make it through R&D that do get the axe.

I guess things change?

Anyway, if it's for real both Charles and I will be getting free intakes as our vehicles were both used for prototyping, development, and fit testing.
