I am looking to add some performance to my 2009 Chevy HHR. I was wanting some ideas for that but nothing thats going to break the bank. Thanks.

tune/intake/exhaust would be under $1000. probably 15-20hp best case scenario. zzp has a supercharger kit for the 2.4. but that would break the bank i assume. ttr sway bar would be a good suspension performance upgrade for around $150 or so

oh and i used to have a 2.4l and i would recommend that you do NOT spend money on a jet chip. (stage 1 or 2).

Going FAST ain't cheap. Nuff Said there.

Buy the Supercharger Kit, or save a few bucks piecing your own together with some good used parts you can save a good amount.

I am piecing my own "kit" together and have most of it now.

Polishing the Supercharger currently, a little here a little there on that.

Yes, yes it does so very well, without any problems.

Been done in several 2.4's and even 2.2's for quite some time. Even with smaller than stock pully, adding even more Boost.

Cobalt SS's came with this Supercharger setup.

Lots of Cobalt guys have swapped to a Supercharger, same motors as our HHR's.
