Filters directly affect the auto trans modulation on the HHR very specifically.

Not that it would matter to you, as you don't have a CGS intake. (The "Outlaw" is only for use on the CGS.)
What exactly is auto trans mudulation?

And what test were used to prove that the Outlaw filter has the best auto trans modulation? Or was it another butt dyno because I sell it type of thing? It's a bunch of salesman BS. It's an f'ing air filter! How many people on this board have ever bought an air filter based on how it affects your transmission?
