Stopped SC build, going Turbo Kit Route. ???
I did 225/50/17(plus size) with a 38os wheel on Eibach Pros and had no fitment or rubbing problems ever. I wouldn't go with a taller tire though unless you are looking for a smooth ride. If you do get good rubber then 225-245 would be all that you'd need.
There have been many builds with the F23 on different platforms with power at 350-400whp and they seem to hold up well. Plus side to all of this is this engine and trans are easy to swap and fairly cheap at a salvage yard if anything goes boom.

I'm looking for 350whp, I emailed ZZP with all my concerns and my want to do the stage 3 instead of the stage 2 so we will see what the response is. And of course I will continue to search online for more info on the F23 and what it can or cannot really handle. I was hoping to be done with a full supercharger build by end of this month, now I'm just starting to figure out what's needed for a turbo build. Only lost maybe 3-400 on the headers and downpipe with labor and parts if it sells but lesson learned. Do your research before jumping in.

The inserts are trans mounts. They help eliminate wheel hop. Wheel hop is what will toast your trans and axles. For your build I would suggest the powell f23 front and rear(stage 2) mounts.
Def won't clear the strut. 245/45/18 is the stock tire size on my Solstice and they are much taller and wider than 225/50/17 and those only had about 3/8-1/2" clearance. I think 245/40/18 fit. Some cobalts are running that size.

Actually looks like SS fan runs 245/40/18 and his ride looks lowered:

I'm guessing 245/40/18s may work as that brings it down to 25.72 tall but being I'm lowered who knows. Diameter variance is almost perfect. Might just go 235/40/18 to be safe at 25.40" and nearer perfect variance.

I'm guessing these
Powell Composite OEM Rotated Motor Mounts - F23. or
Powell Billet Motor Mounts Stage 2
You beat me to the right size, might even go 235/40/18 as it give a closer variance.
