You'll need to get a hold of John Powell on the cobalt forum and he will set you up. S 2 kit was like 280 shipped when I had them.

Other option is TTR poly inserts. They will only help though if you get the TTR engine mount as well. That combo works pretty good for the price, but I thought the Powell setup was a little better at reducing hop. Up to you both are much better than stock.

Will do. In the very beginning I was going to do the TTR engine and tranny mounts but I've read so many mixed reviews they don't seem like the answer. Hopefully the Powell option is a better one.

Thanks.

lol Emailed him last night and had a reply in my inbox by 7am today. Now that's customer service.
Here is part of his email, his part on the open diff still concerns me. Am I having to be careful if I'm spinning my tires burning rubber in 1 and 2 or is he referring to shifts higher up in the gears at good speeds?

"Our F23 rotated mount should help you, we have that in stock. The open diff in your trans you will have to be cautious; if you spin one wheel too much you risk breaking the star gears in the differential itself. ZZP do some awesome power levels, I would suggest ( my preference) Exedy stage 1 which is rated to those power levels and not expensive, or SouthBend for the clutch, ZZP know those folks at Southbend and can suggest a clutch for you."

177 shipped. Either prices went down or I got a different part.

Anyone know what type of clutch to go with for a DD? Kevlar or ceramic?

Looking at this kit

Stage 2 won't hold for you and that clutch kit gets $$$ for more holding power. It started slipping on me when I switched to e85. I was at 300whp+ at that point and likely a bit less tq. Exedy st2 will hold for you but the pedal pressure is really really firm and makes dd suck. Consider ky or something else that can hold your potential 300wtq+. See what TTR has to offer.

OK. Those prices do include a lightweight flywheel. TTR replied to my clutch thread and I asked what they have to offer. But I believe you when you say it doesn't hold well, and I definitely don't want a tough clutch to push down being 90% will be daily driving.
