If you are using the LE5 throttle body then I think you have an adapter on the supercharger. I don't think the bolt patterns are the same. If anything you'd remove the adapter to bolt the LSJ throttle body directly to the supercharger. The small hp gain from the LS4 throttle body is not worth the drive-ability issues so I'd stick with LSJ at the largest. The issue with the LS4 is its so big its hard to modulate the throttle even when modifying the throttle table in the tune. You'll be in and out of boost very quickly and it gets annoying after a while.

Copy that thanks! So to recap, you were running a 3.1" pulley just fine with a header/dp, heat exchanger, and SC with LSJ TB. Updates I should get to do that include the intercooler. Anything else? Once I get it running properly I'll post more pics lol.

Yes. Just consider the dual pass end plate if you don't have it. It will keep intake air temps much lower at all times.

Happy Frog, Has any one informed you to run one step cooler spark plugs? I had CJ help me on my install. He did do quite a few of these installs with great results.

Did any of you have to rewire the TB adapter harness from ZZP's kit to use the LSJ TB? Donbrew has been very helpful with my electrical troubles and found that the LE5 on the 2007 cobalt SS is a different pinout from the LE5 on the 2007 HHR. I'm just curious if anyone remembers that from their experience.

I rewired to save money. I had an '06 though. There are a few diagrams on the cobalt forum.

I thought the ZZP kit had colder plugs.

I used the ZZP 6 to 8 pin adapter with no problems. I had to make my own fuel injection harness.
You can go to Ballenger Motorsports to get all the GM Delphi connectors so making your own harness is a snap.
You will need some shoulder bolts for the intake manifold. Try" Bolt Depot.com" they have all the bolts you need.
When you get to installing your drive belt Atkins Rotary in Eatonville Wa has a tool that makes taking the belt off and on a one person job.
Make sure you use 1 step cooler AC Delco spark plugs. I have tried a few other ones with not so good of out come.
Hope this helps.

What about the injector harness? The stock LE5 harness and rail are used with larger injectors.

Not all injectors use the same connectors. Check out ZZP under their "Ecotec parts wire harness" categories. There you can see their selection of connectors and adapters.. Under their "Fueling" categories they have a selection of fuel injectors.
For injectors I went to "WWW.injectorwarehouse.com and purchased some MP3164 Bostech fuel injectors.$24.75 ea
They are 42lbs injectors. They will work just fine. They have a good idle.
As I said before you can build your own wire harness for everything for a lot less by going to "Ballenger Motorsports" for all the connectors you will need.
