Thinking of going duals...
#24
I will probably buy another car someday, maybe even a Ford. But, I promise not to hate on my HHR brethren at that time. 'Rice', in the context of the HHR would be SS badges on a non-SS. I don't see how anyone can look at an HHR and not think customize. It isn't the same as putting stickers and mufflers on a Civic SX. I see it as extending what the HHR is, not making it something it isn't. I'm the type of guy that gives the thumbs up to anybody who's trying, (and isn't a d*ck) even if I don't agree with their style. *If it is done right it is not rice.* All that being said, if I had a bunch of money burning a hole in my pocket, perhaps I would do something retarded like dual pipes.

If I did the psuedo Duals on my HHR, I would have gone the side exit route just in front of the rear tires.
I think that looks good on them. A couple of ways it was done here, I saved the pics for future reference.
Main reason I held off, Money.
I still have a few things to get for my Supercharger install, one being a $200.00 Gauge, and buying the HPTune stuff. $600.00 or so for that.
So for now just swapping the oem muffler for a Thrush turbo for a Total of $100.00, Thrush was 30 and the muffler shop charged me 70 to install was good until after I get the supercharger in. Then I can work on doing something with it that I can do and still Pass our inspections.
Rather spend the money getting the Supercharger done first, can always tweak the exhaust system afterwards.

Now that's funny right there lol
You do really that a non ss like you had and your ford edge would be a pretty close race.
Hipo v6 in a ford edge sorry still laughing.
Btw the duals listed above look cool after all the hhr is designed to look like an old car that would have duals added on.

I miss labeled my Edge to btw. Not High output but it is the SEL PLUS and not just SEL. I have heated mirrors and leather interior which was only in the SEL PLUS for 2007.

I get that you like your Edge us11csalyer, but you might get a better reception talking smack about the HHR in a Ford Edge forum. I don't think I'd have brought my old HHR 2LT to a pissing contest with your Edge. I even think the Edge is just hunky-dory. I'd buy one for the wife, she'd love it. You say apples to oranges, but for you, it isn't really about the exhaust. (this thread) Your dual exhaust is just as superfluous as dual exhaust added to the HHR. It just happens that the manufacturer did it that way for your car and added it to the end cost. (no offense, just callin' it the way I see it)

An old wise man once told me "Don't question other people's taste, because your taste is probably crap also".
One of the things I have learned in my 64 years on planet earth is you don't put down a man's woman or his car.
