TOMMOTORSPORT Springs

I was looking at these springs on ebay, and because of the price I was curious if anybody has heard or had any experience with them.

I'd follow the old saying, you get what you pay for.

But no, except for seeing them on ebay, know nothing about them.

The seller has good feedback, but who knows how many of these they've sold. Plus feedback doesn't usually tell you how good something like this is, since that takes more time to see what happens.

If they are from a seller that offers these as an on going item, write to the buyers and ask them. If you click on a sellers feedback, if it hasent been too long of time, the item number shows up. You can in most cases, click and look up the buyer. You can look up the buyers name and send them an email message via ebay.

Yes I've had experiance with these springs. NOT worth the money.

We installed them on a 2.2 Cobalt LS. They did not give the advertised drop. The back was ok. But the front was still high.

So seeing how cheap we bought them for, and still had his stock springs, we cut one coil out of the front. It dropped the car better to where it's lower in the front than in the back. But we had to cut them.

No problems with them yet. Just didn't give the drop it said it would.

Hoped that helped.

For the price, it may be worth it to purchase just for the rear springs. I would like to lower the rear on my HHR about 2" just to level it out. You would think that you could by the Goldline ones for half the price of the full set of 4, but that is not the case. I have seen the full set for around $180, and the rear leveling springs (set of 2) for around $130, so don't understand the reasoning in the pricing. This may be a reasonable alternative.
