Is this used Supercharger ok? What to look for?

Hi all! You guys have been a HUGE help already, and I wanted to get your final opinion. I'm ready now to purchase parts finally, and just wanted your opinion on this used Supercharger, manifold, and throttle. Do they look alright from the pics, and what should I look for myself when I get them to ensure they are ok? Everything else besides these parts I have new, these are the only used parts I'm considering.

Cobalt SS LSJ supercharger Kit 2004 to 2007 Ecotec Redline 2 0 2 2 2 4 | eBay

Thanks again for your time! I'll hopefully post up new pics and shots of the progress.

Selling it cheap so no returns
That quote alone would bother me if I didn't have the opportunity to see it before I bought it.

The ad says "2 available". So, would you get the 1 pictured or another 1 not shown ?
Always a little leery of ads like this.

Seems you could get a new one for a tiny bit more.

I did a very quick GoOgle and found a new one with injectors for $500 (no manifold or TB).

Buyer beware! From here I can't give the impeller shaft a spin to see if it's spinning freely, so you have to ask yourself, do you feel lucky??

Good points all, thanks for your input! I'll check the Cobalt SS forums to see if someone is selling a rebuilt SC instead.

I have done what you are starting. Anything off ebay you will have to go through to make sure it is serviceable. The needle bearings should be regreased around 60k street driving.
Have you got a tuner lined up? CJ did mine and was great at it. Unfortunately he is gone now.
New is bolt on but anything used, you are your own warranty provider.

The rest of the kit I'll be getting from ZZP, just to make sure I have all of the small things (bolts, some kind of a road map, TB spacer, etc.) They will tune my PCM for me, which is nice. I did end up finding a good used SC, Manifold, and TB so we are on our way!

Beside regreasing the needle bearings (thanks RF2!) and changing the oil on it, is there anything else I should do to the SC to make sure it's ready for install?

When bearings wear, the rotors get mucked up because they start rubbing each other or the case. Those rotors look great so the bearings are fine. I think that is a good deal. Also that seller knows his chit. Hes been around the cobalt community forever and always has huge for sale threads on the forum. I have personally purchased things from him. Those injectors wont work for 2.4l, but still a good deal for just SC, mani, tb.
