what can i do
hello, im new here. about a month ago i scored a gold 2006 2lt fully optioned out with only 78,000 miles on it. only paid 3800 for it and since it was so cheap i want to fix it up. only problem is i cant find any dedicated sites that deal with aftermarket parts. was hoping someone here could send me in the right direction. ive seen the thread on supercharging it, and i definitely want to but have no mechanical skills whatsoever. but i do want to boost power and mod the car so i dont look like everyone else on the road. any information would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance

aboard dopefiend951, as George advised above, start popping various search terms in the "Search" box at the top of the page. It's linked directly to Google, and we're quite proud of it, especially considering how many months of work went into it.
Also check out the fine folks at ZZP & TTR who not only cater to HHR's and their Delta Platform cousins like the Cobalt, G-5, Ion, Saab 9-3, etc. But their advertising dollars keep our lights on.

Question is, what do you want to do? If you are looking for less roll going around corners you might want to get in this today, its a good deal: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...oup-buy-54777/

If you are really interested in power, I would recommend hitting up Cobaltss.net. HHR is a great site, with lots of great info, but far less 2.2/2.4 HHR's get significantly modded vs. 2.2/2.4 Cobalts. I've had good luck with ZZP. Parts seem to be good quality and reasonably priced. Powell racing makes awesome go fast goodies, but they are a bit pricey. Definitely worth the extra cost though.

thank you
awesome, thank you for replying so quickly. i have been checking out this site quite a bit, so glad i found it. im even more excited about fixing up my new lil car than i was before. my ideal plan for this car is more power but able to corner like its on rails, im not one to just go in a straight line really fast. i wont be dragging the car or even going to a track. i drive alot for work, all over southern california, but im not some idiot that i street race either i just like to have power for when i need it. again thank you all for advice and information. already found solution to annoying t/c warning light i had.
