Neon parts in a Chevy? WHen that happens, I drive a Ford again.

 

I think whoever told him about the Neon parts was thinking PT Cruiser. I’m not sure, but I think a lot of the engine tech (along with the rest of the platform) is still based around Neon running gear.

As for the HHR, it sounds like he should wait for the SS. If that isn’t out yet, a 2.4L 5-speed should be able to get past that Sportage. If it can’t, maybe you should “mod” the Sportage instead! I hear removing an ignition cable slows a car down some…
