10 minute mod... and the cost: $0.00 !!!

I stopped by a customizing shop by my house to see if they had 3M automotive vinyl in stock. They said they only had a small chunk of white because the guy that does the graphics was out on a job and had all the vinyl with him on the truck. I asked if I could have the scrap piece and they said yes. So I went home found a pair of scissors, a matt knife and a vinyl squeegee.

10 minutes later I had white Chevy bowties on my HHR and it didnt cost me anything! What do you all think of it????

Wow, that looks great! I had thought about doing the same thing, since the gold-colored emblems seem so out of place. Thanks for the pics and the info I'll be doing this on my own white one

That looks great! Since mine is sandstone, the yellow bowtie looks good on it. No need for a change!

Sorry Bud but some one else beat you to the punch over a year ago.

The unknown man did mine in Daytona Blue and I must say it came out really nice.

Who was that guy

I never said that I was the first to do it. I actually got the idea from pictures on this board!
