I agree rear fill is not needed, but is needed for theater surround sound. As you stated in the first post it sounded like you didn't want to cough up the cash for deductible and now you have ideas of these mods. I've seen this all before, most people never start nor complete their so called ideas.

Just a word of advice. Be careful on what they pay you. It's almost standard practice for insurance companies to low ball the estimate and cut you a check. DON"T CASH THE CHECK. That completes the deal and if you need a supplement you can't get it. Take the car to the best shop in the area (at least to get the estimate), not the one the insurance suggest. They can not tell you who fixes your car. It is illegal for them to do this (steering) . Only cash the check after the work is completed and you are happy.

well, we agree on something...money is not an issue...finding the 3o minutes to drop my car off is very hard to get in my life.

Let us know what you end up doing quest! I wouldn't want to do filler either. My personal preference. It may look ok and all that, no one else may ever know it's there, but I would know it's there.

Accident

As a former accident investigator and policeman I can assure you that your damages will run $1500.00 - 1800.00 to repair your HHR back to factory standards. I know that others have told you that if you turn this into your insurance your rates will go up for years. This is bunk! Even if they raise your rates (which I doubt they would) you could take a long hit on raised insurance rates before you had to cover the difference between the $500. deductable and the $1800.00 repair bill.

That's terrible, SLVR FOX. It's hard to imagine how someone could give you dent like that then leave. Surely they saw what they did.

Moral of the story is don't ever stop for Ohio State jerseys again!
