I got the bezel and now waiting on stubby. The bezel look great and the price wasn't to bad ($25.00+free shipping) compared to the hhr club store ($38.45 shipping included) and Maggie is great to work with gave me some more ideas for the fire truck. Pics will be on as soon as stubby gets here.

Talking chrome antenna bezel

I am thinking of ordering one...how do you think it will hold up to the road salt here in Illinois?!? Do you think it will corrode? I really think it would look sharp with the chrome stubby. I had to put a few layers of protection on my stubby (WOW, that sounds bad!), as it showed a few rust spots after some days in the salt. However, they did come off with Turtle Wax Ice...

If I'm not mistaken the piece is made out of ABS plastic so salt and corrosion shouldn't be a problem.

I think your right it doesn't seem like metal. You shouldn't have any issues with it.

It is plastic.

Gotta question to the others who have at least test fitted it......What did you think of the fit? I test fitted mine today and was a little disappointed.

it doesn't seem to "sit" well. almost like it either needs to be a little bigger to fit completely over the OEM, or it need a 'foot' to set on to complete the look. It has a little gap at the bottom.
