We have several things in the works for "lighting."

still debating whether or not to smoke the headlights, driving lights and tail lights. I guess I"ll wait for my lower grille project to be completed first and see if the grille and smoked headlights will match.

I'm definitely smoking my tail lights when I get a chance. I want to do the headlights and fogs but I might not.

Bud Hill at the Solvang Run had his black HHR's tails smoked.

Here's a shot next to my HHR for comparison:

...and lit at night:

He had his painted with black lacquer cut with clear. If you look at the B/U lights, they are trimmed in black too. It was very cool.

Very illegal...but still very cool!

Just got my tint the other day... plan on doing this myself - but not sure if I'm going 100% tint on the brake lights or going with some kind of 'eclipse' (as in 'eclipse of the sun') rendition. Who knows...
Ordered my tint from www.Lamin-x.com... once there, goto their 'Store' and look in 'bulk/uncut' tint. I ordered Charcoal (darkest option). This is VERY DURABLE material and pretty dark to boot!!!
Haven't applied it yet due to 'cure time' (it's supposed to rain here all week)- they call for upwards of 48hrs...
Also have another idea in mind to use this stuff on. We'll see how it looks first.
Will re-post the results once complete.
