Attention Drummers - New Bumper Cover...

Well...you don't have to be a drummer, but - in response to requests for a more protective rear bumper cover, we have designed a larger model for <drummers> and others who load/unload large heavy gear into their HHR's.

It will be known as the "DW" model.

Here are some pics of the prototype (click for enlarged pics):

And on the car (just sitting, not attached):

You can see that it covers a great deal more area - all the way out to the edge of the bumper.

The standard bumper cover sells for $50, so we are looking at $65 for the "DW" model, as it uses quite a bit more material.

Let me know if this is of interest?

Let the feedback begin - Captain?!?

I would like to get ahead of the Captain........just once. I think the extended protector is a better idea. I have the factory standard and I have scratches on the unprotected areas. I just hope I can buff them out as my wife is controlling the purse strings for now.

More importantly, is that the rear mat you got from the dealer??? Mine doesn't say HHR.

Good idea if you actually want a functional bumper guard! Bad idea if you're concerned about looks.

Wow I like it. Are you going to do the diamond plate the same way. Plus how does that look on the rear?

We can do any of the styles this way now that the template is made.

(I knew CH would have a derogatory remark.)

See that was an example the positive hidden in my negative. It really is a good idea.

You are the first person who even asked! If there is enough demand to make them, we will sell them. Right now we would have to make each one individually on a "Special order" basis. Any of our standard flavors are available. Should only take a few days extra to get them out.

Thanks for asking!
