Hey all ... it's been forever and a day since I've posted on here. Going to try to be better about checking in. Not even sure who's on here now.

Anywho ... my '07 is still rolling great, approaching 90,000 miles. Only issue now is that the chrome inset on the auto shifter handle is starting to get rough around the edges and is going to start peeling. Has anyone replaced theirs? I haven't had any luck finding a custom or cool replacement, so wondering if anyone knows of one ... or has done one of their own. It's bothering me, so am going to have to do something fairly soon.

 

I just tried to find the part number on gmpartsdirect.com, but it must not be in a logical parts group. I'm sure you could order a replacement part at any GM dealer, or at least get the part number from them.

I replaced mine with a custom one. Easy as can be...step by step can be found by clicking the link in my signature...page 4 for my shifter mod.
