Not yet. Still have to mess around yet. I think if I lower the plunger i made it will give the adapter more grip on the shifter

2009-2011 models come with the leather boot. They will fit your 2006.

The shift boot appears to be bunched up and blocking the trim from snapping into place

Whoever did yours cut the plastic and forced the boot in. Notice that yours does not have the PRNDL showing.
If you care enough you can get a shifter for 2009-2011.

There's nothing cut its just draped over the selecter faceplate
