If we had stopped long enough we would have probably had that same look last year. We just kept on going though.

For a change, I'm watching others get more snow than we are, just a couple of inches so far, but there's a lake effect snow advisory for tonight...

and to think...in the bay area California, if so much as a light sprinkle falls, the media has "breaking news reports' of a "Major Winter Storm"

these bay area softies have NO idea what a winter storm is.
I spent 3 years in New Brunswick, Canada...and when 3 feet of fresh wet snow falls, and they STILL dont cancel anything....we end up walking to school...2 miles...up hill...both ways!

just stay safe folks...the scene is beautiful, but a PITA I know...stay safe, and warm...and remember...come the spring, you owe your HHR a full detail job.

My Condolences!

I sure am glad that my folks moved the family from MN to FL and that I have the good sence to stay here. I don't think that I could take all the indoor time that yoose guys from up nort' have.

Yeah...sucks to live in the Northwest this time of year. Here in western New York we too get the lovely "lake effect" that blows in mountains of snow off the eastern Great Lakes...followed by truckloads of salt from the road crews. The end result is a community of cars white with dried road salt and other gunk. A trip through the carwash gives momentary relief..until you pull back out on the road and drive about a half mile.

At this point I don't even care about the jobs. I'd just live off the proceeds of bottle returns and sleep in the HHR!

Lots of home for sale in Florida! You can pick up a repo really cheap. We have the highest number of foreclosures in the country right now.

Forgot to tell you. We're a "right to work" state and pay is way too low.
