Billet Grille

I bought it off a member of the site DaRaceNGuy. I left it on my HHR when I traded it in on my new SS. As for your wife, she was smart and moved away from Hillsdale! What is her maiden name? I might know her or some of her family.
Grill Kit Won't Fit
Hello,
I have a 2009 LS Panel. I bought a billet grill - upper and lower. The upper fits fine, but the lower doesn't. If I leave it loose, it looks right, but I'm afraid it will one day fall off. When I tighten it up, it rotates bottom in towards the vehicle and looks terrible; not to mention will probably fall off too. Has anybody encountered/solved this?

Mounted the usual way (shown earlier in this thread, post #37 prod's HHR)- using two screws into two vertical brackets that catch on the inner lips of the bumper material. The outer edges of the grill sit against the outer edges of the hole in the bumper. I want the lower edge of the grill to roughly match the lines of the lower part of the bumper hole when tight. That's not what I'm getting though. I'm thinking that the lower center part (and possibly the upper center too) of the grill needs to butt up against something - two bolts through the bumper maybe? That way the grill would be supported in the center and not just pinched into the hole on the outer edges.

Mine is a different brand and mounts differently. Just seems like you either don't have something in place, or it's in place incorrectly. I've never seen one angled like that.
BTW, mine is a Carriage Works if I remember correctly.
