The HHR's do look pretty darn Sweet Two-Toned, go for it.

Supercharger off a Cobalt SS SC 2.0 it's a Eaton M62. Plenty of info on the swap is out there, a little here, but search the CobaltSS.net forum for alot more. And the Ecotec forums.

ZZP or ZZ Performance sells a Kit already put together for you. I think it's around $2,599.99 and up depending on the Options you choose.
http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...arger-Kit.aspx

A couple here have bought the Kit.

You can save a few hundred or so piecing your own kit together with used parts.

I have been casually finding and buying my "kit" parts for the last 14 months, you can do it Alot faster if your wallet can take it. lol

I just been taking my time really, and along the way with it came a Bad Mab Header, so I now need to order up a ZZP Downpipe, then a supercharged HHR was taken back to stock and traded in so I bought the Cylinder Head off it and it has alot of stuff added the ZZP LE5 Performance Cams and other goodies.

A Watchful eye on the Cobalt and Ecotec forums can net you some very good prices, the 2.0 SC guys sell stuff when they turbo. And the Cobalt guys go back to Stock when they want to trade it in at the Dealer, or they just can't get it right and sell. Then guys start collecting their parts but need the cash for something else so they sell off the parts they started collecting.

The deals go fast so you gotta watch the parts classifieds like a hawk and Pounce on a deal, or someone else will.

I keep adding more to my basic supercharger install as it goes along, but some deals were just too good to pass up.

So it will be a full on performance assault all at once instead of one upgrade at a time to the supercharger.

I just keep reading and taking notes and printing out info on supercharger installs on the Ecotec while I buy my parts. I want to be Sure I have 100% Everything down to the last nut & bolt needed before I even start the tear down.

A guy on the Cobalt forum has a Complete Supercharger "Kit" he just took off his car for a good deal right now.
From his listing> This is a full complete SC kit

lsj TB
42# injectors
lsj injector harness
lsj tensioned assembly with bracket
bottom intake mount
cobra heat exchanger
ic pump
all bolts
gaskets
M62 SC with 2.9 pulley
stage 2 belt
lsj intake manifold
Lsj intake
Trifecta red cable

I don't know if I'm missing anything

$1,250.00 for everything.

Not a bad Deal I think.

HHR's look Good Two Toned, either way upper at the belt line another color or the old retro way looks good as well depending on colors used.

Your Orange and a Cream color would look good like this.

Black on Top of the Orange looks pretty Sweet as well.

Lots of ways you can take a two toned paint job on the HHR.
