What type of exhaust tip is that? Is it chrome or polished? How long have you had it? Mine is turning bronze color and I want a nice chrome finished one...like yours

It's the stock tip that comes on the 2.4, not many miles on my HHR but as long as I keep the tip cleaned and polished it should look good for many more miles.

my installer hit my IMCO with a little flat black in order to hide the weld marks

Yup, I have the same tip on mine, GM calls it stainless so it should hold up

DARK AGE 53, Thanks for the offer but I live in the South east side of the state. I will have to jack it up and paint this weekend. I would imagine that the muffler would not get any hotter that the enigne, so engine paint should be alright.
