Blue Dot Tail Lights?

Anyone "Blue Dot" their tail lights? Looks like it would work really well on the HHR.

There are several on the board who have them. If you do a search using the words blue tail lights you'll come up with a few threads.

I've always loved Blue Dot tailights, but they're illegal in Arizona and I guess many other States as well! I don't understand the reasoning, but then there are lots of stupid laws out there.

They are illegal in Kansas also. I'm just a rebel that way.

The reasoning is they alter the red tail and stop light colors. Anything other than red on any passenger vehicles is illegal. The only vehicles allowed to have mutiple colors in the rear are emergency vehicles.

yea...cuz a HHR would DEFINATELY look like an amblence from behind with those!

I have yet to see an emergency vehicle out there with blue tail lights, except some motorcycle cops.

I'd LOVE to have them on my HHR...but in California, they are illegal.

I have seen a nice 64 Impala SS in the wee hours of the morning(my commute) with Blue Dots...It does stand out from 1/4 back or so...

Hey Smoke--haven't seen you post for awhile!

I like those and dang it if I forgot to take a pic of Bud's today!
Can you just get the dots or do you need to get the entire light?
