Looks good Terry. I entered my first real car show on Sunday and took Best Flames

 

Just in case anyone wants to know. I did Terry's bowties in varagiated leaf[red tone]. They have Red, blue and green tone varagiated leaf. You can also use Silver [actually it's white gold leaf], or the hi dollar spread, which would be 23K patent gold [which is real 23 k gold] which you can engine turn the leaf, like a lot of race car guys use, or fire trucks.
Doing Terry's on Thursday, we had a real windy day, but gotther done finally. At times we have leaf blowing down the street, which was fun. You're supposed to do leafing on a very calm day, with no wind at all, but due to time constraints, we did'nt have that option. "Moon"

I'd pick engine turned white gold. But that's me, & currently happy with my vinyl overlays..

What kind of sealer did you guys use over the gold leaf?

 

Congratulations!! We were at a show Sunday(non-compete)as well and saw a lot of imitations of Mike's FIRE but, they're just not even close.What show were you at?We sealed them with Varathane marine varnish.

 

Bunkie, those Bowties really look great.It's nice to someone using their imagination to do something different. I told Julie we to make the Half Moon Bay Show next year.

 

You guys sure do need to come up to Half Moon Bay next year. It was a blast. There were even treats at our table...YUM
