Please post details on how you did this. I like the way it looks and would like to do that to mine.

I suppose it's possible that it could be very wide chrome trim affixed to a billet grille. Only other thing I can think of would be getting a spare upper grille and cutting it to fit in the hole below the bumper.

That's exactly how he did it. I can't find the old post about it though.

Cool...thanks CJ. I have learned so much about mods from you guys it's incredible. When I sit at my computer at my boyfriends and see stuff, I'm like..."oooooh...I like that....I wanna do that to my HHR" and he's like, "Oh geez...what did you see at that group now?"
