I would like to find out a way to add a lock? I would like to also lock the Lower Glove box too!

Thats the way I see it, I pulled it out completely to fix it and it didn't look like your could do much else.

When it breaks you do have to replace the entire box and it will cost you around $100 just for parts. Luckily when mine broke it was still covered under warranty.

seems like some sort of kitchen cabinet latch might work. Found this one which has a touch release. I know there are other types that also may work. http://www.thehardwarehut.com/catalo...php?p_ref=4547

I think it can be done with the stock button, you can get the finish as stated earlier in this thread for the button, all you would need to do is make a nice finish plate for the top side around the button and drill through to bottom, finish with a small screw/bolt through top and bottom. Should be it. I am looking for the right metal to try this with, have grinder, polisher, drill.
