Chevrolet Emblems Opinion
I really like the idea of adding chrome Chevrolet emblems to my Lil' Red Devil, BUT I'm a little leery of doing so. I have looked at some that you wonderful HHR'ers have done and like the looks. I found some emblems at a swap meet a week ago, they are very different than what I see has been used. I REALLY like the looks of these, they are about 6" long, 1-1/2" at the highest point. It's more in the CURSIVE lettering, but looks kinda "girlish cute"! I have determined that they are mid-60'ish. Just wanted some opinions before I actually did it. I have already come to value the forum-HELP!!

I love that! I'm am really struggling to figure out how to get pictures on here. Just when I think I have it, I don't! Oh well, someday. I do think I finally got a picture of the emblems I found on here though. Thanks for sharing!

The emblems that you showed were used from the mid-sixties through the late-seventies or early-eighties...They should be very plentiful and they hold up well...good chrome. Different is good and these will look cool (my opinion) and if you don't want to drill holes you might be able to use 3M mateials or go to a vinyl shop and have them recreate the design in two dimensional vinyl, you might even ask Black Beauty if you are considering vinyl, he has a contact. I got my grille, bowties and enough vinyl to make my eyebrows when he came down to the Mid-Central Run...

I'd like to get a Bowtie Vinyl in black like that. It looks great with the yellow outline of the Bowtie beneath. I like contrast and feel that using the yellow below to border a new vinyl decal works best.
I love the 1955 3D Chevy scripts that many of us have purchased. They are a bit of work to prep, but man, they look nice:
