I agree Sindy, I shaved all my badges & polished off the gold tone on the rim centers & the steering wheel..

note: Pic was shot before I painted my drums & calipers. But the bow-tie is much less visable to me..

That sounds easy enough... buff them out. I ended up painting the gold bowtie silver so it blended in more with the cap.

Good idea also..

Yes the buffing was easy, I first used rubbing compound, then went finer & finer, finishing with Mothers Billet Polish & to a hi-lustre..
