i always see eric's avatar and think of Michael Moore. The first time i noticed it, i thought it was him. Although i guess I could grab my mom's yearbook and look him up, she went to school with him and he's unfortunately from my town...

Bah ha ha ha ha! He was in town this weekend too! If I can find it, I'll have to post a picture of one of my photography teachers who got fired. He looked kinda like Michael Moore and Peter Griffin combined...

Sorry, I know it's not a good picture, but it was all I could get in the lighting....

I know, no one else probably sees the resemblance, but I thought it's funny....

I think that's what most people are missing on your avatar-its tough to read, but under the picture it says "Peter Griffin". As in a real-life "Peter Griffin from Family Guy"-its funny as hell if it is legit.

What is the story behind it- is it real or mocked up?

I have seen it before online claiming it's real, but I checked it out on www.snopes.com and it says that the picture of course is a real person, but his name is not Peter Griffen...so someone made that up.

Obviously there is no "real" Peter Griffin looking so uncannily similar to the animated character. It's a photochop.

Ah, Goof Off! I never even thought of that!! Thanks! Oh, and I'm being nice...that guy was my teacher for my photography classes, but we think they fired him.... He just "left" the school last minute before the semester started...so I'm kinda bummed because I really liked him...
