Chrome/Stainless trim ring around IPCW tails?1

Has anyone installed a set of Chrome/Stainless Steel trim rings around IPCW LED taillights? I'd like to know how well they fit or if they fit at all. Are the IPCW tails any different in size from the stock lamps? We have the 'Crystal Clear' lenses which have this thick broad black band around it. We think by having the trim rings on, it would enhance the chrome reflective lense of the LED, therefore giving the lamp an overall larger appearance.
Will the rings fit?

The chrome plastic ACC rings do not fit over the IPCWs. They IPCW lights do not have the same curvature as the stock lights.

However their is the stainless steel rings that fit against the body of the HHR around the lights, but they don't cover any part of the lights like the ACC rings.

So you can see the difference...........

The SOM of CourthouseDeb sports the stainless steel (pic in gallery).........

While Dory sports the ACC chrome rings........

Ben, you took a picture of my tail lights at Hooters and I have the stainless steel rings -- I LOVE them and I've had them going on 2.5 years now, no problems. I prefer them as the others kept popping off. I believe your lights are the same circumference and should be fine as the go around the light, not on it.

I also have the ACC trim rings like jx3's Dory has.. At first they weren't staying on, so I dug out the aged 3M strips & shot a thin bead of Silicone 1 around inside them & installed them, They fit perfectly then also.. & taped them on overnight to allow thew silicone to cure..

Never a problem since.. Sorry for the sidetrack..

DARN That's what I didnt want to hear. I was hoping they would work out but needed some input before purchasing them (not quite inexpensive) only to wind up being disappointed.

Thanks to all for your input/info.
