Cobalt Console...

I see where the Cobalt has an add on Armrest Console... does anyone know if this will work on the HHR too??? You would have to remove the current armrests... but that's no big loss there...

I have no idea, but I would pay $80 for it...looks simple and practical. I would wonder how much I could "lean" on it, but still, would be great if it worked.

Keep us posted what you find out.

You know my fear in looking at that on the web, is that it attaches to both seats at once. So...you would no longer be able to fold the passenger seatback flat to hold cargo. Ironic, but I had to do that today to hold a ladder...

Hey, check out this guy's e-bay store...if someone was handy with their dremel tool, you could modify an Aveo mount...

plus, if you had to join both seats to a center arm rest, you would have to have both seats in the same forward/aft position.

Ok, I joined a Cobalt forum to see this thread

http://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showt...hlight=armrest

The unit attaches to the center console base and does not attach to the seats. Now to just look at our center console and see if we can fit some type of mount in there.

:: edit ::

Here's one where the guy installed the Chevy Aveo style center console by just screwing it to the console. Looks like a more "generic" fit. He got it off the ebay store I posted above
