caps

Doug:

unless you are sure--would not take a chance.

I live in pittsburgh and you would think I would be able to find something to fit this thing other than new wheels--guess not.

?? My wife has a 08 Jeep Compass with steel valve stems. and all 08's have tpms So it must be that steel stems aren't made to work with the TPMS on Chevy's ?

I realize that some vehicles (Jeep, imports, etc.) have steel valve stems on their TPMS systems. Ours don't.

I didn't dig any deeper, but he did tell me ours are one piece, and you don't just change out the stems. This, of course, could be wrong, but I'm not inclined to do it at this point, so I didn't ask further.

What do you think of these hubcaps?
I have the plastic covers and would like something more old school. I'll be driving this all winter and don't want to invest in alloys.
I called the seller and he said they were off a Suburban and they have spring clips all around the
edge. I think I'll take a ride and see if they fit and how they look.

rock, I thought about those covers, too. 40 bucks for a set isn't bad, since I've seen them for much more than that for just one.

These guys carry TPMS stuff, looks like steel valve stems come with the OEM sensors they sell. Don't know if the valve stems can be bought separately. I'll keep looking.

I guess you can tell I'd still rather run with the full smoothies, huh? LOL
