custom front bumper

I am starting my job as a truck driver so I wont be home much to update this.

I am going to order a generic oem front bumper from ebay.

I plan to shave the bumper caps, add some mesh, smooth the bumper, add some nice vents and make a lip kit for it.

anyone have any custom bumper mods for inspiration?

johouse05,
If you're gonna shave the 'tits' you might want to mould the lower center panel while you're at it, and eliminate the ugly license plate bracket.
I made some licence brackets to mount it in the bumper in the bottom opening... The main bracket (across the plate) is from "I can't remember where".
I just noticed that the plate brackets are on there backwards (when I took the pict).

Might need to consider some flexable filler, since that happens..

Bondo won't last long, think of how easy it comes off the mixing tray, which is made of similar stuff to the bumper.

There's a flexible repair kit that bodyshops use, I'll have to see if I can find it.

Found it!
