Custom Lower Grill Developed
I'm made a lower grill install to my HHR...
Custom job..
Minor cutting... Its made out of light weight aluminum - All I had to do is cut to length..
fasten... and bammmm.....
It has lots of airflow...
What you want is to stop the small debris from getting suck into the radiator fins, and small projectiles ...
I can post a close up - later this evening.. for those really interested..
How many need the image ??

I'll tell you... then..
I went to OSH, and bought... the 6 inch wide aluminum wire mesh that is sold in a roll, that is used for the screen mesh for gutters.
Used , the tie wrap adhesive anchor parts (not found at OSH) to mount to the lip of the lower moulding, then tie wrapped in place.
If it gets major damage, its easy to replace... and I don't have to order an replacement..

The number one supplier of cut to fit mesh grilles is APC. They also have it in colors and patterns like flame and Maltese cross. They are not my style because just about every Japanese rice racer has mesh grilles.
